Cherry Blossoms & Bees Framed

Part of my ongoing exploration of the wonderful cherry blossoms, this piece on brings some stricking cherry blossoms in full bloom on natural pine wood board, framed in Victorian Ash. Please note, the colour is a lot more beautiful in person.

Every year, I find myself completely captivated by the arrival of spring. It’s a season that never fails to amaze me, with its vibrant burst of colour, blossoming flowers, and the return of so many fascinating creatures, in this case the busy bees. There’s something almost magical in how nature seems to wake up and transform the world around us.

I wanted to paint something that not only reflected the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom but also allowed the texture of my “canvas”, this wonderful pine board, to come through.
